ORG PAS 100 course for beginners

The Organics Recycling Group is running a one day course focused on the PAS 100 and REALCompost Certification Scheme requirements for beginners.

This event is approved by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management to provide one day towards the Institution’s Structured Learning & Development Programme, Or 6 hours of Continuing Professional Development

The course is kindly hosted by Eversheds, 115 Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 3AL

The course is targeted at the composter’s personnel who is involved in the implementation, establishment, maintenance and improvement of the PAS 100 Quality Management System. For example, personnel:

• responsible for monitoring and controlling the composting process;
• responsible for product preparation ;
• responsible for dispatching/selling the compost product/s;
• who has the overall responsibility of the PAS 100 QMS;
• Site operatives who are carrying out the inspections on the input materials

In addition, the course is also open to consultants who are interested in providing advice on PAS100, CQP and REAL Compost Certification Scheme requirements; and anyone else who is interested to understand the basic requirements of PAS 100 and REAL Compost Certification Scheme

The course will include theory of PAS100, as well as a practical, site-based session that will give delegates some useful background knowledge.

The course will be delivered by ORG in conjunction with industry expert Dr Audrey Litterick at Earthcare Technical. For any clarification on the technical content of the course, please contact Kiara at Kiara@r-e-a.net
