We are delighted to invite you to Stoke-on-Trent for our annual ERCP Symposium on the 13th and 14th September 2018.

Held at The Best Western Plus Stoke-on-Trent Moat House, this interactive two day course will cover all aspects of ERCP.

The two-day event will aim to address the clinical and technical issues faced during ERCP, including the role of EUS in ERCP (ERCP/EUS interface), using a combination of interactive lectures and live case discussion guided by our expert local, national and international faculty.

There will be a parallel ERCP for nurses programme on day 1.

We encourage senior trainees and consultants in gastroenterology, hepatobiliary surgery and GI radiology, as well as ERCP radiographers and nurses to attend and benefit from the superb educational opportunities that this course will provide.

Decision making in ERCP - case studies

  • Biliary access techniques and short wire systems
  • Needle knife sphincterotomy
  • Role of EUS
  • Bile duct stones - MRCP or EUS prior to ERCP 
  • Difficult stones and dilatation assisted stone extraction (DASE)
  • Mechanical lithotripsy and challenges
  • Ins and outs of bile duct exploration for stone disease
  • Stents and strictures 
  • Pancreatic endotherapy and sphincter of Oddi dysfunction
  • Training and quality assurance 
  • ERCP for nurses breakout programme
