IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, creates opportunity for people to escape poverty and improve their lives. We foster sustainable economic growth in developing countries by supporting private sector development, mobilizing private capital, and providing advisory and risk mitigation services to businesses and governments. We invested nearly $19 billion in more than 500 projects in 102 countries, of which $12.2 billion was for our own account. In addition, we mobilized nearly $6.5 billion from other investors. Our Advisory Services project expenditures totaled $206.7 million.
