Tobii Eye Tracking Conference on User Experience

EyeTrackUX 2010 (Tobii Eye-tracking conference on User Experience) is the premier international conference on eye-tracking in the field of user experience. By bringing together leading researchers from academia and industry it forms an important knowledge base for eye-tracking research and methodology. This event covers a wide range of leading edge eye tracking methodologies that are either emergent or actively employed in user experience research today.

EyeTrackUX 2010 will be held in Leuven (near Brussels), Belgium, in cooperation with Centre for User Experience Research (CUO) at IBBT / K.U. Leuven (Catholic University of Leuven) on June 2-3, 2010. On June 1st, the day before the conference, Tobii will be arranging a separate course on how to use eye tracking in web usability studies.

The intense two day conference program includes a spectrum of user presentations, hands-on trainings and workshops. This year we are happy to present a keynote speaker from Google who will be talking about how and why Google uses eye tracking in user experience research. We also invite participants to contribute to the conference program, please see the call for speakers for more details.

Call for speakers

The success of EyeTrackUX is highly dependent on the contribution of its participants and we are happy to invite you to contribute to the conference program. Researchers and practitioners in the field of eye tracking and user experience research are welcome to present their work. The presentation should focus on how you have used eye tracking in user experience research, methods, concrete advice or lessons learned, and a description of your main findings. We encourage people to present findings from academic research as well as from commercial research and client cases. It is also possible to arrange workshops and special interest group meetings during the conference.

Each presentation is limited to 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes for questions. If you wish to candidate for a speaking opportunity, please submit your application by e-mail to eyetrackux@tobii.com no later than May 10th, 2010. The application should include a title of the presentation, a short abstract of the presentation, and the CV of the speaker. Please note that there is a limited number of speaking slots available and speakers will be selected based on contribution and how well they fit the conference theme i.e. eye tracking and user experience.

    Upon registration, you may choose your preferred payment option. Accepted credit cards are VISA and MasterCard.

    For the options of wire transfer or cheque, Tobii Technology will invoice your university or organization. The invoice must be paid in full within 30 days payment from the invoice date.

    Cancellations made after May 5, 2010 or no shows at event will be charged 65% of the total participation fee per participant.
