During the application process you will be requested to submit a CV and a statement (max 2000 characters) which should cover the following information:
* Your current research objectives
* Why you want to attend this summer school
* Whether you have worked with stem cells before
* Any previous involvement in the public communication of science 

Course fees
 
The registration fee is £700 (GBP).
This fee includes tuition, materials, and some meals. You will be responsible for making your own arrangements for travel, accommodation and meals not detailed in the programme. Information to help you choose your own accommodation is contained in the information documentation.

Bursaries
Up to two bursaries will be awarded to applicants studying/working in EU new member states (year of entry from 2004) or candidate countries  http://europa.eu/about-eu/countries/index_en.htm.  You should apply via the main application form.

These bursaries will cover accommodation costs in Hydra, and registration fees. Bursary recipients will be responsible for their own travel costs and arrangements. Bursary recipients are required to produce a report on the course and learning (photo essay, blog, or other format to be agreed), in English and suitable for public dissemination via the EuroStemCell website, delivered within two weeks of the close of the summer school.

We regret that no further bursaries can be awarded, and encourage other participants to seek alternative sources of funding as early as possible if this is likely to be required.
