Baking with Tobii: 7 delicious recipes for successful eye tracking use in web usability studies

As a response to popular demand, Tobii has now prepared a baking class for both beginners and advanced users of eye tracking in web usability studies. Our one day course will not only provide the participants with basic skills in the eye tracking lab, but also present 7 different recipes that can be used to satisfy the different tastes and demands of the shareholders involved in web usability studies.

We start the day by providing the participants with some basic skills in housecraft in relation to eye tracking studies. This includes some basic facts about how the human eyes and vision works, the theory behind eye tracking, why the wording of the tasks is so important and benefits and drawbacks of using Think Aloud when doing eye tracking studies.

The day continues with the introduction of our 7 tasty recipes:

  • Chocolate balls: Live viewing
  • Meringue: Selling a heatmap
  • Danish pastry: Story telling
  • Soufflé: Qualitative gaze analysis
  • Rye bread: Metrics per task
  • French loaf: External benchmarking
  • French roll: A/B testing

In the afternoon, our participants will get the opportunity to prepare cakes for each other which later will be tasted and evaluated. We finish the day with a discussion about the presented recipes and hopefully leave the course with our stomachs and heads full of new ideas regarding eye tracking.

    Upon registration, you may choose your preferred payment option. Accepted credit cards are VISA and MasterCard.

    For the options of wire transfer or cheque, Tobii Technology will invoice your university or organization. The invoice must be paid in full within 30 days payment from the invoice date.
