Come and take part in the Postgraduate Institute for Measurement Science fourth Annual Conference taking place on the 6-7 November 2019 at NPL Teddington.
Over the past 4 years the PGI has been working to achieve its vision to become the number one institute for research and training in measurement science. We have been collaborating with ever-increasing numbers of industrial organisations and universities, performing cutting edge science and engineering research. We are proud to showcase some of this work in this year's annual conference.
This two day event will illustrate how the work we do has an impact on our future prosperity and quality of life. Delegates will get a chance to hear from some of our partners and funders on how measurement science is making a difference in industries and more broadly on society.
We have adopted three themes to demonstrate the breadth of what we do:
Creating impact on health
Display how our research contributes to providing effective diagnosis and therapy with common or novel health-based practices.
Sustaining our environment
Illustrate how our research approaches and combats current global environmental and energy challenges.
Making a difference to society
Show how our research impacts day-to-day living by improving or monitoring communications, economic performance and general quality of life.
